The strain that changed cannabis flavour forever. Zkittlez — bred by 3rd Gen Family and Terp Hogz — won the 2016 Emerald Cup on terpenes alone, delivering a candy-sweet explosion of grape, tropical fruit, and citrus that no other strain can match. Calming, relaxing, and mood-lifting — this is the benchmark for fruity cannabis done right.
Type: Indica-Dominant Hybrid | THC: ~18–23%
Genetics: Grape Ape × Grapefruit × Undisclosed Third Strain (3rd Gen Family & Terp Hogz)
Flavour: Grape Candy · Mixed Tropical Fruit · Berry · Citrus
Zkittlez changed what people thought cannabis could taste like. Before this strain arrived, fruity cannabis meant a faint berry note buried under pine and earth. Zkittlez delivered actual candy sweetness — so authentic it earned its name from the resemblance to Skittles candy — and proved that flavour-first breeding could produce serious, award-winning cannabis. Created by the breeding team at 3rd Gen Family and Terp Hogz in Northern California, Zkittlez won first place at the 2016 Emerald Cup — arguably the most respected cannabis competition in the world — not because of its THC numbers, but purely on the strength of its flavour and terpene profile. A strain that wins on taste alone is rare. This is one of them.
Vibrant purple hues, sticky resin-covered buds, and a terpene profile that hits your taste buds like a rainbow of fruity candies. Dense, colourful, and generously frosted with trichomes — Zkittlez has some of the most striking bag appeal of any strain on the menu.
One of the sweetest natural cannabis flavour profiles available — a favourite among users who prefer fruity strains over earthy or diesel-forward ones. The aroma is sweet and fruity with notes of grape candy, berries, and citrus — like cracking open a fresh bag of mixed fruit sweets. On the inhale, tropical fruit and grape flood the palate immediately. Grapefruit adds citrus brightness and a touch of sativa uplift that keeps the sweetness from ever feeling one-dimensional. Clean, natural, and endlessly enjoyable from first hit to last.
Tasting Notes:

The effects lean indica — calming body relaxation and stress relief — but the sativa influence provides a mild mood boost and mental clarity that prevents the experience from being purely sedating. Versatile and approachable — Zkittlez is the kind of strain that works for a wide range of occasions without demanding anything from the user. Unwind, socialise, or simply enjoy the flavour. Consistent and predictable — new and returning users appreciate Zkittlez because it delivers every single time.
